From the age of 2, Victoria could be seen walking around carrying a hair brush and looking into every mirror she passed to fix her hair.  In her fourth grade yearbook, she wrote that when she grew up she wanted to become a hairdresser.  Her dream came true!  Victoria is a graduate of Capri Institute in Paramus and licensed in both New Jersey and New York.   After working for 9 years in a Bergen County salon, she left to pursue her dream of studying at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, England.  She also had the opportunity to travel through Europe, paying special attention to the cosmetology industry abroad.  Upon returning to the US, Victoria visited a variety of salons in New York City, working there for a short time, but in the end decided to open her own salon in Bergen County In 2012. 

Coming from a family with curly hair, Victoria has first-hand knowledge on cutting and care for curls of all kinds. Victoria’s clients consist of men, women and children of all ages.  Her skills include precision hair cutting, barbering/fading, hair coloring, highlighting/balayage, formal styling and specialized hair treatments such as keratin.  Victoria is also a talented make-up artist, having taken many classes in New York City at the MAC Studio.  She can apply make-up in a range of styles, from natural to dramatic, to meet the needs of each client.  Victoria enjoys using her creative talents for weddings, proms and special occasions.  She is known best for her skill in listening to her clients, advising them according to their unique hair type and texture, and giving them the look they desire.

Jasmine has been in the industry for more than ten years and with Victoria Rose Salon for over seven years.  She is a graduate of Empire Beauty School in Paramus and loves forming personal connections with her clients.  She is in the salon full time from Tuesday through Saturday.  Her strengths are fantasy colors, extensions, hair cutting, hair coloring and corrective color.  She also is a whiz at applying make-up for any occasion.  Jasmine enjoys meeting the challenges of different styles and colors on a daily basis which keeps her job interesting.

Kristin Blancato has been interested in hair and make-up since she was a young child playing “hair salon” with her family and friends.  She is a dual graduate of the Cosmetology Program at the Bergen County Vocational-Technical School in Paramus as well as Paramus High School, and has been actively working in the field for twenty-three years.  Before joining the staff at Victoria Rose Salon in April 2014, Kristin worked at Park Avenue Hair in Park Ridge for 13 years.  She has been with Victoria Rose Salon for more than ten years.  Kristin is very creative with color, formal hair styling and make-up application, and also performs keratin and other treatments along with cutting for men, women and children of all ages. 

Nicola Farmilette has been in the cosmetology industry for more than seven years and with Victoria Rose Salon for nearly three years.  Beginning as the salon’s assistant, she has now taken on more responsibility and has earned the designation of Senior Stylist.  Nicola has had an interest in hair and beauty since she was a little girl.  She attended and graduated from the Capri Institute in Paramus with a certificate in Cosmetology.  Nicola enjoys transforming hair styles and doing make-up application.  She is very ambitious and always eager to learn new techniques.  Nicola brings her bright personality and positive team attitude to work with her each day, and has developed a wonderful rapport with the VRS clients.  She looks forward to continuing to build her career at Victoria Rose Salon.
